Beginning in Fall 2011, TEC, Inc. began an ambitious project for International Paper - Texarkana Mill in Domino, TX. Due to a need for additional water detention capacity, International Paper tabbed TEC, Inc. to raise in excess of 11,000 LF of existing earth levee.
The additional levee was constructed from clay material harvested from an on-site borrow location. Work included excavation of waste product, placement of new levee material, installation of drainage pipes and the installation of new haul roads.
Work was succesfully completed in early 2012.
